Map 001, only a few foxholes shown on this 
hill side, noted are several flat platforms
used for mortar launching. This section
was manned by elements of the 9th Volks-
grenadiers which was also comprised of
men from various other units including
the German Navy. This map is in-line with
map 002. The setup of the men were dug
into the side of a hill, just below the crest,
flanked to the left with another unit, the
5th Fallshirmjeager Division and it's
remaining regiment.
