Radio Section, Bulkhead 5 to 6

SPWposter.jpg

The importance of the discovery of what is remaining of what was the radio room cannot be understated to the value of looking for Sgt. Stephen P. Wulderk, missing in action (MIA). It was not known where the wreck of Bull Session went or impacted on the ground but is key to aid in the navigation of finding the two MIA airmen. To begin to look for the MIA, you need to know where the aircraft is lying for a start. As stated in my report, in cases of aircraft incidents, MIAs are often found in or near where the aircraft came down, but not always. Fortunately for us, the impact site of Bull Session was finally discovered after 5 .5 years of searching the hills and forest stretching 12 kilometers. Not only was the site found, but much of what was in the radio room and some structures were also recovered. This section covers what was recovered and put into the exhibit. The search in the crash area continues for Sgt. Wulderk.
